What did you do before joining The Wholesale Group?
9 years with Fairway. Prior to that I’ve been in various foodservice and wholesale businesses – Country Range, The Today’s Group, Batleys over a career touching 40 years…I know; I look too young..I must have been in short trousers when I started .
What do you do when you’re not working?
Watching sport, bee keeping/wrangling (badly this past year), lots of walking with the dogs, good food and chilling out at our bolt-hole in Scotland.
If you were able to retire tomorrow, how would you spend your time?
All the above x10.
Who inspires you?
People who get things done.
What is the most interesting place you have visited and why?
Shark Diving in the Maldives…100s of them all around…need I say more!
What do you like about working at The Wholesale Group?
I love the new challenge of bringing 2 businesses together. It’s a lot of hard work and head scratching, but I know we’ve got the team to make it happen.
