What is your role at The Wholesale Group?
I am a finance manager responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data and promptly preparing payouts for our members.
What did you do before joining The Wholesale Group?
Throughout my professional life, I have been deeply engaged with numbers. I began my career in the banking sector, where I gained essential skills in financial analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance. After fifteen years in banking, I decided to shift my career towards accounting, discovering that my banking background offered a strong foundation for this new path.
What do you do when you’re not working?
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family: my husband, two children, two border collies and two cats. We love going on trips hiking and exploring new areas. Also, my time off is mainly spent connecting with my friends.
If you were able to retire tomorrow, how would you spend your time?
I would start by diving into all the books and movies I haven't had time for. Together with my husband, we would travel a lot and explore our long list of places we would like to visit.
Who inspires you?
I noticed that the "normal" people I met had the most significant impact on my life. It started with my parents, who sacrificed much for me and were always by my side. Later, I met many people who impressed me with their kindness for others, bravery in speaking loudly about their beliefs or their devotion to other people. These "normal" people inspire and influence me the most, making me the person I am today.
What type of business would you go into if it wasn’t wholesale?
After finishing school, I planned to study oceanography. If everything had gone according to plan, I would be an oceanographer now.
What is the most interesting place you have visited and why?
Among the most interesting places I've visited, I chose Rome. It offers a fantastic combination of culture, history, and delicious food.
