What is your role at The Wholesale Group?
I look after the Management Accounts & assist with other aspects of the Accounts work.
What did you do before joining The Wholesale Group?
I have been the Accountant at Fairway Foodservice Ltd for 24 years, covering all aspects of the accountancy work for the company.
What do you do when you’re not working?
The older I get, the more I enjoy pottering around in the garden (I don’t know if it’s an age thing!!!!). We also enjoy going out for walk, but only when the weather is nice.
If you were able to retire tomorrow, how would you spend your time?
I suspect my garden would get even more attention.
Who inspires you?
David Attenborough & Chris Packham, for their relentless devotion to wildlife and the environment.
What type of business would you go into if it wasn’t wholesale?
Being in Accounts, I don’t think I have a preference as the work would be mainly the same.
What is the most interesting place you have visited and why?
India, the sights sounds, diversity of life and friendliness of the people.
What do you like about working at The Wholesale Group?
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
