What is your role at The Wholesale Group?
I work as our Finance Executive. My main roles involve collecting and entering the Quarterly sales figures from our Suppliers, processing the promotional Retro claims for our members each period and handling the Health & Safety tasks at our Cotswolds office.
What did you do before joining The Wholesale Group?
I trained for 3 years at University to be a Primary School Teacher. I now use my ‘Teachers Brain’ to help me in my day to day working life.
What do you do when you’re not working?
I usually just like relaxing at home, going on walks with my Partner or doing a bit of retail therapy! I also attended Art College in my teens; so I always enjoy doing creative things now and again.
If you were able to retire tomorrow, how would you spend your time?
I’d like to spend more time on Art or just being creative really.
Who inspires you?
I’m really inspired by people who go out of their way to show acts of kindness to others.
What type of business would you go into if it wasn’t wholesale?
I did some training to be a massage therapist in the past; I would probably like to do that.
What is the most interesting place you have visited and why?
Egypt. I remember the bus journey we had from the airport to our hotel and it was amazing just looking at the scenery.
What do you like about working at The Wholesale Group?
We are a great team at The Wholesale Group and are always there to support each other. I also really enjoy building rapport with both our Members and Suppliers.
