Foodservice Buying Manager covering a range of categories including Fish/Pies & Pasties.
What did you do before joining The Wholesale Group?
I previously worked at CO OP Wholesale/ Nisa Retail for 21 years with a squiggle career across multiple departments, having 9 years’ experience within trading, spending the last 4 years buying non food.
What do you do when you’re not working?
I love spending quality time with my family, my grandson keeps me on my feet. I enjoy cleaning and collecting/building Lego. I love to visit different places for food and taking my Frenchie for walks and of course shopping for bags and shoes.
If you were able to retire tomorrow, how would you spend your time?
I would love to travel around the world, take a world cruise and spend my time exploring different countries.
Who inspires you?
My Mum and Dad inspire me, to work hard and make the best I can out of Life.
What type of business would you go into if it wasn’t wholesale?
I would love to be a property developer by running my own business. Purchase run down buildings or land and develop to be able to sell on and make a profit.
What is the most interesting place you have visited and why?
Australia, beautiful scenery, the great barrier reef is out of this world. I have family who live there as well.
What do you like about working at The Wholesale Group?
The people/ my colleagues are great to work with, so friendly and each day is not the same.
